How to download Flash Player standalone software from Adobe website
If you’ve tried to search for Adobe Flash Player standalone download you might have noticed that there’s no good and working ways explained, but I have one for you.
For those who don’t know what standalone stands for: it means Flash Player executable that plays flash content (swf files) “outside” the browser, not a Chrome plugin or ActiveX control for Internet Explorer. And yes, there’s a way to download it.
Getting Flash Player standalone from Adobe
Ok, here are the steps to download latest version of Flash Player standalone from official Adobe’s website:
- Download and install demo version of Adobe Flash Professional here http://www.adobe.com/products/flash.html
- After having installed it, go to the program’s folder (Program Files / Adobe / Flash Professional CC /) and open “Players”
- You’ll see FlashPlayer.exe app in that folder — that’s the player you’ve looked for
Now, you can copy the whole Players folder to some other place on your computer and use standalone software for swf files even if you delete previously installed demo version of Flash Professional. For more convenient use you can also associate swf files with flashplayer.exe.
Please, if the article helped, consider sharing it, thought my English isn’t good but I have the right decision.
